Ressources pour les néphrologues durant l'épidémie de Covid-19

Afin de préparer au mieux les néphrologues à l'épidémie de Covid-19, l'ERKNET (European Rare Kidney Disease Reference Network) partage plusieurs ressources documentaires.

Dear Colleagues,

The world is facing a huge and unprecedented challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic. Medical community is in the frontline of the fight with this devastating outbreak and rapid experience sharing is a top priority.

While little remains known about COVID-19 in general CKD population and transplant recipients in particular, the infection also poses special threats to the hemodialysis population. Hence, effective measures to control disease spread among these highly susceptible groups are of utmost importance in the current stage.

Although many questions remain to be answered, professional societies around the globe are taking great actions to provide medical community with the latest updates.

Below we share some useful resources for the nephrology community, some of which also have regular updates.

ISN Education is organizing a Webinar by Dr. Francesco Iannuzzella on March 20 "COVID19 for the Nephrologist. Real life experience from Italy". Register here.

Take note that no evidence-based or official guidelines for the best effective prevention and care strategies in the CKD population are available yet. The resources stated above are to be used in accordance to national, local or other applying guidelines and are subject to rapid updates.

Wishing all healthcare specialists fighting this global challenge to stay strong and safe!
